Tally Talks Week 16
I just can’t believe what a son of a bitch Tomy is! I blabbed to the social worker about who my baby’s daddy is, and they contacted him and now he wants a DNA test, and his alcoholic mama had the balls to tell me she wants to be the baby’s grandma. I’m mad enough to scratch his eyes from his scrawny head. Granny says calm down, but I am not going to calm down, and they are not going to test my baby, because she’s my baby, and testing her to be related to those freaks is like testing her for a disease, and she doesn’t have a disease, she’s fine.
Tomy hasn’t been here, he hasn’t been to the doctor with me, he hasn’t even cared about me or the baby at all, except he knows now they’ll try to get child support from him which, HA! Good luck! Whatever money he gets, usually from stealing people’s shit from their cars during summer, goes up his nose and out his ass.
Well, listen up! This is my baby, and the county can’t make me do anything, and neither can the trailer park trash who isn’t his family. I decide what is good for my baby, and fuck you. And, Tomy, if you try get near my baby I’ll ram my hand in your pimply chest and pull out your tiny, black heart.
Sorry, mom, I know we lived in a trailer park for awhile and I know Grandma lives in a trailer park, but you know what I mean. Lots of good people live in trailer parks who aren’t trash, and Tomy didn’t even live in a trailer park he did me in his little yellow shack on the north side of the river.
The baby is doing fine, I’m starting to really show. Granny and I collected our first food from the garden, some chard that wintered over under straw and really grew fast once it warmed up. It still tastes like crap to me, but I know it has acids and things my baby needs to be healthy, so I eat it by the pound.
My birthday is coming up! Granny is giving me a party at A.B.’s house, and she said I can invite anybody I want to. I’m going to invite all the people who stood by me when word got out that I was pg, so it won’t be many.
As soon as we can, my baby and I are getting out of this crap hole and moving somewhere where people don’t marry their cousins.
